Day One: Special(e) Olympics

By chance, we rolled into Napa behind Duff's Kaiser Special in the hardtuned / Ecurie Ecrappe Alfa Sprint Speciale. All was fine until...

The Kaiser Special suddenly puked a bunch of water on an uphill right hand bend.

The Ford Model A radiator in the Kaiser split the header tank in a nice clean line. Duff broke out the clear epoxy.

Seth and Pete pulled up with an ailing 914 that was running hot and smoking. Later they limped home to SF and grabbed Seth's Porsche 968.

Randy and Pete decided to turn around to see if they could help. In the process, they ripped the muffler apart while trying to turn around. Pete (on the ground) is muttering "This Carrrera-spec exhaust is far from Excellent now."
