We made it back in time for the Tunnel Tour of the Cal Neva. The original lodge was built in 1926, and burned in 1937. It was rebuilt in a month, with 500 workers working around the clock. Gaming was big here before it was legalized in 1931.

Our tour guide explains how the tunnel system worked before the Feds cracked down on Blue Eyes and Mafioso Sam Giancana. He went on to describe how digital cameras are effective at capturing the energy balls of spirits called "orbs." The tunnel system connected the casino and offices to various cottages and other areas on the property.

On the left, CK's photo shows the stairway to nowhere. On the right, Nick's photo of the stairway. It used to connect the tunnels to Frank Sinatra's office. According to our guide, Marilyn Monroe's spirit hangs out on these stair frequently. Clearly, Marilyn has a thing for Nick.

Pete was an orb magnet. Note the similarity to the objects in the above photos.
Reproduced cell-phone camera images taken on the stage by an employee. Allegedly, the property is on an Indian burial ground. The employee who took this photo died unexpectedly a week after it was taken.
"And then this guy comes in and asks for a whistle tip and a Flowmaster" - Mitch holds Court in the Indian Room, which was originally the casino.
