Day Two Continued

Randy and Pete (travelling under his alias Gentry Underwood) noted earlier in the morning that the tread was a little thin on the right rear. Despite a strategy of favoring right handers, by the end of highway 36 the right rear was showing threads. The spare went on shortly after this shot.

Onward to Honeydew...

In all the Melees, The Shoog had never been to Honeydew... Here he returns the amp gauge that fell out and hit him in the leg on the road into town. Steve Jackson came up and said "There's a local guy naming off all of the cars as they roll in. Who'd a thunk?" The local guy (in shorts to the left of the Shoog - upper left) came up the the Sprint Speciale and started talking about the Giulia Sprints he used to have and the Alfa GTA he owned back in the day. Now he's got a heavily modified BMW 320i - at least that was the story.
